Homework two
The final due date for this assignment is January 14th (2016), 11:59 PM HOL Time. The recommended due date is October 24th, 11:59PM HOL time. Please send all assignments to holcharmsclass[at]gmail.com (replace the [at] with the @ symbol!) with the subject line "HW2 - [Your HOL name]" for homework and "EC2 - [Your HOL Name]" for the extra credit. So if I were sending mine in, they would say "HW2 - Ivelisse Ada" and "EC2 - Ivelisse Ada" in the subject line. Please also include your name, house, and HOL ID at the top of your e-mail. I need this info to give you your hard-earned points, so double check that it's there! If you have any questions or need help with anything, please don't hesitate to send me a HOL message (my ID is iv823). I am always happy to help!
TRUE OR FALSE (1o points)
Please indicate which of the following are true or false. If a statement is false, please correct it.
WAIT, WHO? (10 points)
Please tell me who invented or made notable use of the following charms. If possible, please also tell me why and/or when they invented or used said charm.
COUNTER-CHARMS (10 points)
Below I have provided ten different incantations or names for charms. Please indicate the name (if there is one) and incantation (if there is one) of the corresponding counter-charm. Please make sure that the answer you are giving corresponds with the lesson. It is important to note that some of these may not have directly mentioned counter-charms, but they will have charms which produce an opposing effect to them, and I will consider these as counter-charms. If there is no counter curse, but there is a way to stop the charm from acting, you may also consider it a counter-charm... basically I am just looking for ways to null the effects of the listed charms.

extra credit two
Please complete any combination of the following options for your 30 extra credit points.
A PICTURE IS WORTH 1000 WORDS (and 30 points!)
Draw or create a graphic of something important from the lesson, such as some form of representation of a charm or it's casting, or an inventor of one of the charms we've discussed. Please give me a brief (1 or 2 sentence at most) explanation of what is in your graphic.
CLASS CHARMS COMPENDIUM (30 points)
Charms inventing is very dangerous, and as such, we won't be doing any practical spell-inventing in this class. However, we can begin developing theoretical possibilities! Please create 5 possible new charms that fit under the category every-day or miscellaneous. It is probably best to look back the class syllabus before you begin to get a better understanding of the miscellaneous category - if one of your invented charms falls under one of the categories covered in future lessons, I cannot give you points for it! (Okay... I will probably just tell you to save that idea for the future extra credit and come up with a new one of this lesson's extra credit... but still! More work on your part.) Each charm is worth 6 points, so please tell me the name and incantation for the charm, the wand movement, and a few things about the charm's effect/intended use. Post your potential charms to the class forum under the thread Class Charms Compendium. Please make sure you write "Extra Credit 2 - Everyday & Miscellaneous" in bold at the top of your post. It might also be in your best interest to look at how charms are commonly named, but you don't have to follow this convention if you don't want to.
LETTERS TO LOCKHART (3o points)
Despite being a complete fraud, Gilderoy Lockhart spent much of his life being famous and beloved, all thanks to his prowess with memory charms. As such, this month's puzzle is dedicated to him. Complete it, take a screenshot, upload it to an image hosting site like Photobucket or tinypic, and send me the direct link for your 30 EC points.
Puzzle is HERE.
